Lieutenant Anthony Wolfe


Lieutenant Anthony Wolfe has served with the Peoria Police Department for over 13 years as is currently the Lieutenant in charge of the Professional Standards Unit. Anthony (Tony) has worked various positions at the Peoria Police Department from Patrol as a Patrol Officer, a Field Training Officer, a Patrol Sergeant, and a Sergeant over Field Training to Detectives as the Sergeant in charge of Investigative Support (Forensic). Tony was promoted to Lieutenant and selected as the Lieutenant in charge of the Criminal Investigation which encompasses Major Crimes Unit, Special Victims Unit and the Investigative Support Unit. In 2015 Tony was selected by the Chief of Police to service in his current position as the head of the Professional Standards Unit. Prior to coming to the Peoria Police Department Tony served in the U.S. Army for 6 years as a Military Police Officer and obtaining the rank of a Staff Sergeant (E-6). Lieutenant Wolfe has Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University. Lieutenant Wolfe holds a number of certifications through Microsoft, CompTIA, CIW, and Cisco. Lieutenant Wolfe is considered a top leader in Police Technology and Innovation.  Lieutenant Wolfe has received numerous award throughout his career but is extremely honored the City of Peoria City Managers Diversity Award, the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Award for leadership development and a recently selection for the Taser RISE award for Police Leadership. Tony was honored to be selected as the Arizona NOBLE Vice President and is committed to the communities, the citizens and the members of NOBLE. Tony is dedicated to putting his leadership to work to help Commander Walls in making the Doeg Nelson Arizona Chapter  one of the premier organizations within NOBLE.
